Rene Olivieri is Chief Operating Officer of Wiley-Blackwell, one of the world's leading scientific and scholarly publishers. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Blackwell Publishing. He has a BA from the University of Oregon and an MA from John Hopkins University in the US. He is a co-opted member of the Council Association of Learned Professional and Society Publishers and represents associate members. He is a frequent speaker and author on current topics in publishing.
