Sir Anthony Kenny is a philosopher whose interests lie in the philosophy of mind, scholastic and ancient philosophy, the philosophy of Wittgenstein and the philosophy of religion. He is an Honorary Fellow of Balliol College and was Master of Balliol from 1978 to 1989, and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University from 1984 to 2002. He was also president of the British Academy
